Once purchased the contents of the course is availbale for one to two years, depending on the course type. As part of the course materials, a user manual and navigational help functionality are available. How does it work?

When you purchase a course an administrator is assigned. Administrator rights are granted to only one user. The administrator must grant access to each individual course participant per course.

Each course is designed to be reviewed and completed from start to finish, to ensure that you get the most out of all the topics. Every course contains quizzes and a final exam. Certification courses also include a certificate when the the criteria for certification is met. Our online
guides will guide you throughout the course materials.

What is remote training?

This type of learning offers individuals the possibility for in-person and remote training in a virtual classroom environment. This type of education is advantageous for those restricted by physical distance and those wishing to accessing training at their fingertips in the comforts of their own location. Individuals connect remotely to learn from a Jotron instructor by accessing software using a remote interface. Students will have the option to change settings on radios and test systems using the radio virtual front module. This is as close to a hands-on experience as possible and an excellent opportunity for students to improve their knowledge of Jotron
products.

What training is offered remotely?

All the currently offered classroom training of Jotron products can be offered remotely. Jotron classroom training is more often than not customized. The purpose is to offer the best possible experience based on the needs and solutions of the customer.

• Microsoft Teams and TeamViewer access from a desktop
• Headset with microphone

Tips

In order to get the best remote training experience, it is beneficial for all students to have a two-screen workstation setup. This allows the student to use one screen for Microsoft Teams to watch the presentation and one screen for TeamViewer to view the remote access. It is strongly recommended that all students perform a test for the training demo to verify that all connections are operational and to ensure that you are ready for remote training.

How does it work?

These training sessions are live. Each student will connect remotely using Microsoft Teams, which is where all training is presented. In addition, students will also use TeamViewer in order to remotely control Jotron equipment. This combination offers the student the most realistic training experience possible. A Jotron instructor will lead all the training sessions allowing for two-way communication between instructor and students for the duration of the training session(s). Once a registered participant, each student is sent a meeting invitation. The invitation includes a link to the Team-Viewer session.

Remote training is most effective when conducted in very small groups. Each training sessions can include up to a maximum of six participants. If you require remote training for a larger group, then it is recommended that two participants sit together at one workstation. This option maximizes the number of students, but not the number of remote connections.

Alternatively, training can be offered the form of a webinar. The webinar is an online event where the training materials are delivered by an instructor in the form of a presentation. The presentations are delivered through a live video stream in Microsoft Teams. Students can engage with the instructor and participate by submitting comments and questions using the chat functionality.
